Amourgis & Associates, Attorneys at Law Sponsors A Christmas Story Christmas Event

Amourgis & Associates, Attorneys at Law are excited to announce their second annual fundraising event. Join the bankruptcy and personal injury law firm this year in celebrating the holiday season and supporting charitable efforts in the community.

About the Event

Amourgis & Associates, Attorneys at Law will be sponsoring a two-day event to celebrate Christmas and raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. The first event will kick off on December 17, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The location will be “A Christmas Story House and Museum” — an important staple of the Cleveland, OH, metropolitan area.

Actor Zack Ward, Hollywood’s infamous bully Scut Farkus from A Christmas Story and A Christmas Story Christmas, will take photos with the public and sign autographs at the actual house from A Christmas Story. The firm will also have a raffle you can enter to win memorabilia from Zack Ward. All ticket proceeds and donations will go to the Alzheimer’s Association. This fundraiser is a personal cause for Ward, as his father has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

On December 18 at 11 a.m., Zack Ward will also be taking photos and signing autographs at the showing of A Christmas Story Christmas, a sequel to A Christmas Story. This event will be held at the Highland Square Theatre (826 W Market St, Akron, OH 44303).

About the History of “A Christmas Story House and Museum” in Cleveland

Cleveland, Ohio’s Tremont neighborhood is the home of “A Christmas Story House and Museum,” the house used in the 1983 film A Christmas Story. Located at 3159 W 11th St, the home was built in the late 1800s. It was purchased by a private developer in 2004, who renovated it to look like it did in the film.

Including the museum, the attraction has four buildings devoted to the film. The house is open to the public for tours and overnight stays all year. While there, you can see original props, costumes, memorabilia, and rare behind-the-scenes photos from the beloved film. You can visit their website for more information about their hours and what’s offered at the house.
