James GalehouseAttorney

James R. Galehouse joined Amourgis in 2022.  He has worked primarily in Consumer Bankruptcy for his entire legal career – since 2010.  He has filed thousands of bankruptcy cases for individuals in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.

Jim graduated from the University of Akron Law School in 2009.  He also obtained his master’s degree in taxation in 2019 from the University of Akron.  He has undergraduate degrees in mathematics and economics from Ohio University.

In his spare time, Jim enjoys time with his family, reading, camping, and family board game night.
