Are The Courts Still Open?
Depending on what kind of case you have- Bankruptcy or Personal Injury- you may have had your court day postponed. The Courts are closed temporarily until further notice. If you have had a court date on the docket, it will be rescheduled when the Courts have reopened. Keep in mind that they will be backlogged and your case will eventually get heard. It just may take a little time. We will keep you updated on how to proceed with your case. Just contact your attorney and we will answer any of your questions on your court date.
Personal Injury cases may still be heard at Court. Judges are still hearing and deciding on cases. Motions for a continuance or extension will receive consideration, depending on the situation.
